Be Advised...

We are currently in the small village of Underberg at the Grind Cafe.  They have superb food, local craft beer on draft, and FAST wifi.  The first that we have found in the whole of Africa.

As a result, we were able to add the previously edited video segment that was intended to accompany Mackenzie's last safari post.  So please page down to the bottom of that post to see the newly uploaded video clip.

In short order, we will have more stories, pictures, and videos to share about our last week in the Karoo and the Wild Coast.  Tomorrow we are planning to go up the Sani Pass to cross into the land-locked country of Lesotho.  The local sentiment is that Sani Pass is a "serious 4x4 endeavor", blah, blah, blah...but it appears in images to look like astro turf compared to Wright's Lake or Imogene Pass.

I recognize that by publishing this in advance of the drive, I am flaunting Murphy's Law with unchecked and arrogant abandon.  So be it.  Call it a consequence of typing this halfway into my second craft beer.

Also, here is a shout out to Ella Skoloda!  Happy 5th Birthday!!
